Jones DesLauriers Appoints New Managing Partner, Head of Complex Risk

Toronto, ON, August 19, 2024 – Jones DesLauriers Insurance Management Inc., a founding Navacord Broker Partner, is pleased to announce the appointment of Imran Pira in the new role of Managing Partner, Head of Complex Risk, effective August 19, 2024. Imran will lead the newly launched Complex Risk division out of the brokerage’s Toronto office located at 77 King Street West.  

As Managing Partner and Head of Complex Risk, Imran will build out a group of risk advisors and insurance specialists, dedicated to tackling the most sophisticated clients and risk profiles across a diverse set of industry groups and segments. The launch of the Complex Risk division and the appointment of Imran Pira accentuate Jones DesLauriers’ commitment to innovation, growth, and excellence in client service.

Imran most recently served as SVP, National Head of Management, Cyber & Professional Lines at NFP since February 2021, where he was responsible for leading Executive Risk solutions across all divisions, including NFP’s Complex Risk Solutions Group. He brings an extensive background in underwriting and broking capacity, most notably at Willis Towers Watson, AXIS Canada, and Marsh.
