Human Resources Coordinator

  • Prepare various administrative correspondences, which can include; employment letters, merit increase letters, bonus letters, new hire packages, STD correspondence and process employee status changes, including promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Support the administration of employee benefits programs,
    including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks. Assist employees with benefits inquiries and enrollment processes.
  • Support full cycle recruitment administrative support including job postings, administering online assessments, reviewing resumes, coordination of interviews, reference checks and collection of background checks.
  • Coordinate Employee onboarding administrative activities including; overseeing new hire orientations and welcome packages, IT Equipment ordering, coordination with management team, training schedules, benefits and RRSP registration.
  • Facilitate all Employee offboarding activities including; Resignation
    summaries, IT Coordination, Exit Surveys, and Companywide Communications as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Human Resources and Learning Management System database, as well as, scanning of employee documents into the HRIS/Payroll System.
  • Keep organizational chart up-to date utilizing PowerPoint.
  • Facilitate various HR projects such as ADP job titling, Paperless file clean up, Engagement Survey data update, etc.
  • Complete various ad hoc tasks and HR initiatives as needed.

  • Completion of University Degree/College Diploma in Human Resources Management.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now would be an asset
  • 2+ years work experience in an HR recruitment or administrative capacity
  • Advanced MS Office skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail required
  • Strong verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bilingualism in English and French would be an asset
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized self-starter and team player with the ability to work well with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to travel to different locations in the GTA
  • Bilingual (English/French) is a definite asset
