Client Manager, Private Client Solutions
MISSISSAUGA, ON| Reporting to: VP, Personal Lines Operations
POSITION OVERVIEW
Jones DesLauriers is hiring a Personal Insurance VIP Client Manager and will report to the Vice President, Personal Operations, Personal Insurance. The successful incumbent will be responsible for achieving business growth on an existing book of business and retaining an existing book of business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Respond promptly to telephone, email and fax enquiries, ensuring a high level of service is maintained
- Document EPIC customer files, using correct activity codes, noting all conversations with customers, insurers, etc.
- Renewal review, recommendations, comparison quotes and remarket when needed
- Total account sales awareness, cross sell and up sell as much as possible
- Action all renewals, endorsements and claims
- Process change requests and new business/remarkets on insurance company portals
- Review and invoice all endorsements and renewals (if not automatically invoiced by the system)
- Release renewals after making appropriate changes when needed
- Scan and attach documents to EPIC
- Quote cross sells and up sell as much as possible
- Issue pink slips when needed in addition to completing miscellaneous duties as assigned
- Prepare new business documents to be sent for signatures, etc.
- Report order: MVR, Autoplus, HITS
- Support other members of the team when needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years insurance experience
- R.I.B.O and C.I.P designation required as well as C.A.I.B or at minimum working towards the designation
- Client development/relationship management experience
- Strong customer service background with demonstrated business acumen
- University degree desired
- Superb interpersonal, communication, and effective problem-solving skills
- Ability to be a self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills as well as organizational skills
- Advanced skills in Outlook, Excel, Word and EPIC
