Mauricio Vasquez brings over two decades of international experience in insurance, risk management, and enterprise resilience, with a strong focus on the mining, power and renewable energy sectors. His career spans Canada, the U.S., Latin America, and the Caribbean, where he has held senior roles in risk control engineering, reinsurance, insurance brokerage, and risk management advisory.

He most recently served as Senior Vice President and Practice Lead for Mining, Power, and Renewable Energy, where he advised companies across the project lifecycle—from development through operations—on risk transfer strategies that protect enterprise value and strengthen resiliency. He also served as a Lenders Insurance Advisor to Canadian financial institutions, supporting due diligence and insurance compliance for project financing and infrastructure investments.
