Angela Iannetta

Partner, Account Executive & Director, Analytics & Alternative Risk Solutions

Angela Iannetta has over 20 years experience in the insurance industry of which 17 years were spent in a consulting role. She leverages her quantitative and insurance knowledge to design and implement risk retention and transfer solutions to ensure that value is driven through analytically sound methodologies. She has built numerous complex mathematical and financial models used to optimize the total cost of risk and has led and provided technical insight on alternative risk financing solutions including captives, reciprocals, special purpose vehicles and group pools. Her broad risk management and consulting experience ranges across various industry sectors including public entity, retail, real estate, life sciences, manufacturing, energy, mining and construction.

Angela has both built and led consulting practices for various companies in Canada on a National basis. More recently, she was Vice-President & Director of Eastern Canada for one of the world’s largest Global Risk Consulting brokerage firms. In this role she directed and led the overall strategic initiatives and growth strategy for Eastern Canada and was responsible for the direction, leadership and support to a team that provided various risk services including Analytical and Actuarial Services, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Alternative Risk Solutions.

Angela holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pure Mathematics with further scholastic concentration in statistics and actuarial science. She has her Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation, Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designation and is a licensed insurance broker.
