Marketing and Communications Manager

  • Develop & execute of marketing strategies that support business objectives to achieve target goals of increasing brand visibility and driving customer engagement
  • Manage & oversee all marketing activities, including digital marketing, content creation, website, social media marketing, email marketing, advertising campaigns & events.
  • Supporting the team in building brand collateral such as sell sheets, brochures, presentations, RFPs, etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business goals and product/service offerings.
  • Provide creative direction on content creation such as photography, video and copy writing.
  • Develop and manage marketing budgets, timelines and resources to ensure efficient & timely delivery of projects.
  • Hire, lead, mentor & manage a team of marketing professionals providing guidance, feedback &
    support to foster growth & success.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices & emerging technologies to continually improve
    marketing strategies & tactics.
  • Assist in content Creation. You will produce and revise marketing materials across various formats, such as article, newsletters & presentation decks. Drawing from your creativity, you will ensure that all marketing content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality and tone of voice and optimized for different channels, including online social media, email and print.
  • Contribute to internal communications, You will support the development of an internal communications strategy – defining key elements, communication channels, town hall topics & decks, announcements, CEO messages, engagement posts & newsletters. You will build & maintain with your team, a commination and marketing calendar, ensuring adequate preparation for each key
    activity. You will prepare materials for internal communications in close cooperations with the Human Resources team to enhance transparency and employee engagement.
  • Take ownership of the Marketing Resources. You will maintain, update & share, ensuring all
    resources are current, accessible and effectively organized for easy use by the team. You will also
    ensure that the most recent images, branding & materials are used for internal and external communications.
  • You will support the organization in leading the training of the use of the marketing resources.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or the Humanities with an appropriate portfolio to demonstrate skill and design style
  • Proven track record of at least 2 years in a marketing management role
  • Experience in the Insurance / Financial Services sector an asset
  • Working knowledge of WordPress and website content management (basic updates)
  • Proficiency in in digital marketing tools & platforms such as Google Analytics, social media management tools and marketing automation systems.
  • A master of the full Adobe creative suite (emphasis on InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere)
  • A master in the MS office suite of products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) that also
    produces compelling and visually appealing presentations and proposals
  • Basic copywriting experience an asset (ads, short form)
  • Bilingual (English and French) is an asset.
